Any more recommendations for Hotels? We want to go for our first time too. Any information would be appreciated.

Don't do what I did last year, just go and look for a motel. There ain't none! We ended up staying up in Lauderdale in crap motels for a lot more than they are worth. Make your res now!

Paul,
Made reservations last year in August. Found rooms for $85.00 night 1 block from the front door of the convention center..... upgraded for another 10 bucks for ocean view!! Have yet to make the reservations for this year, but we are going!

Thats the "new" one in that strip mall. The original went down with Fort Apache. It was on the water. It had a Cigarette Bullet as a stage for the band.

Yes, the strip mall bar was the one I was referring to. I think that is as close as we are going to get.
