Default Ryan Beckley

We will be happy to 120 as this is a little heavier boat.
We have seen 115-116 on a cool day in the lake. The river can be a little sticky on flat water. At 90% efficiency we sould do 118. we are going to raise the engines another 1/4" and see. The props are allready labed.

Not exactly........ The "name" results from the simple fact that the product is in all ways better. Skater represents better mold work, much more craftsmanship and attention to detail, better laminates, better designs, better performance....and as a result... a better name ...........and therefore higher resale value.

I will e-mail you again with that. Don't know where you would find any used. And you would have no warranty either.

Default I think you are mistaken

Everyone has their opinion. Here's mine

1) You are trying to compare a smaller lighter boat (28)to a full size 30ft cat...two different boats
More room in the Spectre different ride. The Spectre is safer feeling.

2) I will challenge anyone to find quality of workmanship that is less than Skater on a Spectre. No decks peeling apart here!!!!!!! Also, Spectre will custom build your boat exactly the way you want it. Yes, even the 30 footer!

I really don't understand the comparison.

It seems as if Spectre's resale is the same or higher!
The initial purchase price is lower, the finish, interior and handling are better. The performance between the two is very similar.

Spectre does not have gel coat issues.

If you want a more recognized name and are willing to sacrifice quality and $$ then the 28 is a nice choice.

Lightning Mike. Didn't that 2000 28 skater w/ 300's sell for 75k. How much was the original price. How much was the loss on that original price? note:The guy sold it a week after buying it for a 36 Spectre!

Do the math on a same year same powered Spectre and you will have to agree the RESALE IS THE SAME OR BETTER.

To OSO member's - #'s talk. Spectre currently has 1- 30 in the Paint Shop 1 -30 in the Mold (mine) and 3 on backorder. It seems some people understand the true value in the product.

Maximus

PS Lightning Mike : That was sweet little"silver platter" I tossed in you lap last week huh!
