I've been staying at the Southernmost hotel for three years now. It's on Duval, and goes for like 99 bucks a night. It's on the quiet side of the island, but a 10 minute walk or a $3.00 cab fare will get you just about anywhere.

We're staying at Harborside. It's not on Duval Street - but it's cheap and VERY clean. They do have boat slips too - but not sure what they will accommodate size wise. We'll be hanging out with "Just Say No" and possibly the debut of "INXS" at the Galleon.

It's been about a month before the races on average from what I can remember. It's a nice place to stay, clean, quiet, well stocked and has a nice tiki bar and pool area. I recommend it! It's no 5-star luxury place, but it's a lot nicer than you'd expect from the price.

John and I will be staying on the boat at the Galleon Marina. We will have "Just Say No" there and possably "INXS" trying to get it ready for a debut. Stop by and have a cocktail with us.

I hear the southern most hotel is nice. I always stay at the Wyndam Casa Marina it's about 10 min walk from Duval but well worth it nicest place on the island. I'll be there in room #169

I was able to get rooms at the Hampton Inn for $119.00. Not too bad for there.
