Careful with Acetone. It will melt the rub rail if it's left on. Wipe on and off quickly....

yes it does

man o man does it shine it up though!
my rub rail looks almost brand new now

Yup...have had good results with that too. As already said, don't leave it on too long (it evaporates fast anyway), it'll melt your rub rail.

Soft scrub works great and doesn't eat you rub rail.

if you have a deep dig in it you can sand most of it out then blend it with MEK (Methel Ethel Ketone) nasty S#$% but it works great.... keep it off the paint or it will be gone!

Ringo works well on the rubrail. I use it to remove rust stains. That stuff is the best hull / boat cleaner I've ever used!!
