I'm glad I keep mine. That trait came in handy today. I met a girl who is very cute. She was talking about boats and how she grew up on LI and knows some powerboat racers who are friends with her dad. Turns out I've got articles on the all the people she mentioned. She's coming over for some reading and relaxing later this week... You never know where these things lead!

Just don't tell her husband! Doh!

I keep all of my magazines, mainly Powerboat since 1988 and also includes Hotboat, Poker Runs America, Boating, Power & Moteryacht, Motorboating & Sailing, Yachting and now, Extreme Boats. As well as many others. Hell, it will take me that long to read them all.

I love performance boats, but enjoy others as well. You might say, If it floats and has a motor, I LOVE it!

I am always going back to old issues looking for stuff, so I am glad I have kept them all. Besides, in about 30 yrs from now, I can recoupe my money back by selling them on Ebay for double the newstand price.

The extra cash will come in handy when my Social Security runs out and my Medicaid kicks in.
