Well Ive posted alot on the subject of AeroTek before so Ill keep this short. Bob Zanine the former owner of the company that built AeroTek was a total complete CROOK. At the time that the bank he was dealing with came in and shut him down there were 10 unfinished hulls and 2 copleted boats. I was suppose to have a 33' w/ 502's in it. I got taken for a loan of 90k. the guy supplied the bank with boggus MSO and builders certs and engine serial numbers that he used for half a dozen other people. He would take an almost completed boat and show it to several differnet people claiming it was theres. I lost about 50k in the whole mess.
Zanine went out of business back in Oct of 95. The molds got sold off and i heard other people tried to put together a company to build them. Just a few years ago someone in LOTO had several of the repossed boats that he bought from the bank and others that got the bare hulls and finished a few off. Don't know where the molds are now or who's trying to do what.
The last few years of Aero Teks (93 - 95) were not very good boats. Many problems with some of them. I always liked the lines of the boat and I think they could be a potentially a great offshore boat in the right builders hand.
