Over 100 MPH without external steering and those little tabs? That guy must have some balls.

i sent him the following email....his response should be interesting

questions about the Checkmate:

How much horsepower is the motor making?
What kind of Outdrive?
What size/pitch prop is on there?
Is 104 mph on the speedometer, or a Gps?
is it possible to get a sea trial on the boat to verify the speed number before i purchase?

He pulls it on the trailer at 104. Then if he takes the prop off (drag) he can go 110. Sounds like normal ebay marketing to me. LOL

Wow! 110 with a prop change! Just imagine if he used some of this. Probably would see 120! Smokin!

And just why would you spend 7k on single exhaust? Must have included everything that the exhaust bolts to. How would you fit 16 people in a boat that size?

I read it and they must have changed it. It says he got 74 MPH out of it and 80 with a prop change... Maybe he soberd up a bit?
