Thumbs up Lake Erie This Weekend

The Alum Thread started to drift into a Lake Erie thread so at the request of the boys here you go.

The end of the Alum thread has some of us making plans to hit the Bay this weekend. I will be there on Sunday for Mad Dog at the round house.
This should have a nice LEOPA turn out as well as some OSO folks that don't get a chance to run in the BIG water

Thrill,
My dock is on the last pier South before the basin. The guys at the fuel docks are seasonal and usually foreign students, they have a hard time just trying to say "boat" can't imagine them knowing how to find me

I want Sunday,
I want Sunday,

Please, I want to go with LEOPAJM, I like his boat more then any other Saber, including WICKEDWON.

Hey JD,

Just kidding. If you were docked in Mentor and going to see the Dog on Sunday, I would like yours the best. Don't tell Jerry,

You understand, right?

Over & Out,
Dano

Unhappy

I had to check the forecasts since everyone was talking about going to the bay to see mad dog. It looks like the weather may not be that great especially if it 50 on Sunday and your getting spray over the boat from those 4-6 footers, it might be a little chilly unless your taking the jet, but that's no fun.

Open Lake Forecast For Lake Erie

Saturday
South winds increasing to 15 to 25 knots and becoming west. Chance of showers. Waves building to 4 to 6 feet.

Wow! 4 to 6 foot waves? Its about time the lake finally layed down. Im sick of those 8 footers.

Whats up with going to the Bay on Sunday? All the old people start showing up on Sunday drinking their iced tea when we are leaving nursing a bloody mary.

Scott, do you have a full boat yet? And is everyone going even if the weather sucks? I need to get to the islands at least once before winter.

Tom,
I don't like what I'm seeing with the forecast. If we go were probably going to stay so don't count on us. I may even take the Jet.

Tony,
Rolling out the chaulk board NOW PAY ATTENTION!
The LAST pier SOUTH of the fuel docks! Count them 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, 8!
