I agree with stock power - Merc 500 efi's / 525's or 575's . Get extended warranties and you'll be a happy camper - Been there done that! BH

I will try and help you for free. How can I contact you without putting out private information. I agree with you on what I have seen this year.

I agree.............500's run there ass off and not a problem, the 525's still new to me and my boat, but no problems. But the 575's........that's a horse of a different color. 1st, I couldn't find anyone to warranty any 575 for any length of time.
They will warranty to 500 & 525
I can't understand that.......I believe it's the blower motor syndrome

Sounds like this problem exists everywhere. I still get a vibration in my drive. The mechanic did work on it and says that it is the prop. Said he test ran it with a new prop that had no flaws and the boat was smooth. At this point I will believe him until I can get ahold of a good prop. Mine as a slight lift in one blade from hitting something. Not much but appearantly enough.

I would hate to see you get out of boating but know doubt can feel your frustration.
Have you given any consideration to just ditching the Prochargers? What about going with a fuel injection system like Dave was talking about last week?

Hang in there.

Just remeber the only thing better than hookers and booze are hookers and booze on the boat.
