I'm not one to go around bad mouthing people. So I won't. I'll just say that there are allot of people including some board members that have talked(or at least attempted to) this guy and no one has a very high opinion of him. I'm personally never talked to him thought.

I will say that boat is gorgeous! I should have some pics of it here in the next couple days. Along with a couple hundred more of the poker run. And last weekend we received confirmation that our helicopter and pilot are a go for next year. Sweet!

Thanks for the info. However, as someone pointed out about Trenton Marine really makes a person think!

Like everything else prices vary drastically, now you have to find out why. when it comes to boats and cars the difference is usually in condition. ive seen all kinds of boats priced were i thought that was a great deal only to go look at them to find them a terd, torn upholstry or poorly repaired scratches and chips etc. the term good or excellent condition has many different meanings. a person that buys the cheapest he could find, often realizes why down the road. Been there done that.

No problem with the #6 drives, but the motors were garbage! They were custom built by Joey Griffith (spelling?). The boat was in the water six times and broke six times.

The guy that bought the boat after it was traded in had to replace both engines. He found that different brand components were used in the same engine. It looked like they built the engines from pieces laying around on the shop floor. And this boat was sold as NEW!

There is a 42' at Pier 57 that has been there a very long time, I think a car dealer owns it? I was told that JG did the best 900 SC rebuilds around but have no first hand experience...
