SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBANY NY 1245 PM EDT WED OCT 1 2003
FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL BE LIKELY OVER THE ADIRONDACKS AND POSSIBLE OVER MUCH OF THE REST OF EASTERN NEW YORK... SOUTHERN VERMONT... AND WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS... THURSDAY NIGHT.

A DEEP UPPER LOW CENTERED OVER HUDSON BAY WILL RESULT IN A FLOW OF THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON SO FAR INTO THE REGION ON THURSDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES THURSDAY NIGHT ARE FORECAST TO BE IN THE UPPER 20S OVER THE ADIRONDACKS... NEAR 30 IN THE CATSKILLS... AND IN THE LOWER 30S OVER THE MOHAWK VALLEY... THE LAKE GEORGE REGION... SOUTHERN VERMONT... AND THE BERKSHIRES. A HARD FREEZE IS LIKELY TO OCCUR IN THE ADIRONDACKS... AND THERE IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY OF A FREEZE OVER THE REMAINDER OF THIS AREA.

IN THE GREATER CAPITAL DISTRICT... AND MID HUDSON REGION OF NEW YO...

I will be boating Thursday, but the sled is moving into the shop Friday. faster,faster, faster.

Im as excited for this snowmobile season as I was for boating season back in March. Still looking forward to boating on LG next weekend but if it snowed a foot the next day I would be psyched.

well this time last year I would be pissed that it is getting cold. But changeing jobs leaves me alot of time during the winter months. I am looking at a new sled as we speak.
