all the talent and the world, now if they could just put it to good use...

Tell me about it! It's been so discouraging no even making the playoffs the last couple years with a roster like that. The Rangers are definately my team. I have some great memories watching them play at the Garden. '94 was awesome. I never missed a game. Hockey was what we grew up with; I played for a great many years wearing the blueshirts' colors on the ponds and local rinks.

YUP, have to agree w/ you, in our local mens league, I wear #23 my all time favorite Ranger...

The wife wanted to do something friday night, I'm like NOPE, opening night for the Rangers... never miss a game either.. 3

No kidding, huh? Wow, Beukeboom is one of my all time favorites, too! I have an autographed #23 Jersey!!!

He was a great guy on and off the ice; always doing things for the community, even to this day. He was really laid back and had no problems shooting the chit after he signed my jersey.

It's too bad and sad that his career had to come to an abrupt stop after the final blow.

I can still remember the Garden skaking when the whole crowd would be reverberating from a unanimous "Booooooook" every time he would level someone. :D

Hartford has always been Bruins bi*ch (Philly too). Look for more of the same in '03 . . .

But who would have thought the Whale would have a more recent appearance in the Cup finals ----- the magical run of 2002.

As for the Bruins, look for more of the same in 03-04, them playing to a half empty Fleet Center and searching for somebody to play between the pipes.

CAPO71 - Take a look at your Flyers NOW. . . plus, Mike Comrie for chrissake. . . . I'm a Bruins fan, and I HATE the Flyers, but they're the team to beat in the East.

I agree but Philly teams always fall apart on that last home stretch for the championships Look at the Eagles and Flyers both always make it to playoffs but fall short
