Good day,

I saw you sales ad on PowerboatListings.com and would be pleased to let you know that i am interested in buying your Sanger alleycat 23
at $28,500 and would be pleased if you can send me a sales confirmatory mail to enable me apply for payment through my bank.

However, upon receipt of your sales confirmation/proforma invoice, i
will foward same to my bank to enable them issue you with a certified and confirmable bank draft payment which will clear for cash in your bank account within 48 hours of lodgement into your account, after which you i can effect the shipment of the Sanger alleycat 23.

All shipping freight expenses would be borne by me.

I am anxiously waiting to hear from you soonest.

Yours faithfully,

Pacin,

It's hard to say. There are legitimate dealing overseas. A friend of mine had this same sort of e-mail for his boat that was for sale.

I told him to just ask the bank manager or loan manager at his bank. They will know what to do or at least point you in the right direction.

It turns out my buddy's was a fraud. As soon as the bank manager got involved, they never heard from the guy again.

So ask the guy that gets paid to know more then we do.

Good luck, I hope it is real and you do sell it.

LMFAO,

Maybe he should see if it's legit before we hunt them down. LOL !! Just in case it is a real buyer.

I say hunt him down anyways. If he is legit then he will have the money. We can take the money and then he can come and get the boat. If he is not legit, then we can proceed to put the screws to him just for fun. :D

It can't hurt to check it out. A few years ago i had a boat for sale on the internet, I was emailed 2 or 3 times from someone claiming to be from south africa wanting to buy the boat. He claimed he had a buyer in the U.S. so I gave him a p.o. box number to send a cashiers check from a major U.S. bank and told him I would contact him when the check cleared my bank. apparently It was a scam and I never heard from him again but I had to check just in case.
