Troutly,

Dude, your dealing with a cop spy budget and I'm dealing with a magazine (my own$) budget. I got the Nikon Cool Pix 5700. Shoots 5 megapixal. Plenty for the mag. And sorry but no gyro for me.

Can I borrow your cop chopper and camera to cover the worlds? I promise I'll give you the picture credit in the mag! Please!

Ron

I almost bought the Coolpix 5700 but decided to go with the Olympus C-750, although its 4.2 mp VS the Nikons 5.1 I like the 10x Optical zoom of the C-750 vs the 8x of the Nikon and at half the price. I also got the 1.7 teleconverter which takes it out to over 600mm OPTICAL.

I've got the Nikon CoolPix 3100 with 3.2 megapixels and it works GREAT. Wish I had a little more zoom tho. Dave

Cool

Hello from Extreme Boats Magazine!

First of all I want to thank all of you for your support of the magazine.

We have been putting in a ton of hard work to make each issue better than the last one - and of course better than the other mags out there! I think we are getting there.

With issue 4 (the 'blue one'), we really leaped out into a class of our own. We want to bring you everything that is ‘Extreme’ about the Extreme boating lifestyle – and believe me... there is plenty of Extreme out there!

Our readership as well as our organization is expanding rapidly, so there may be some hiccups along the way. We need to hear from you if you are not getting your magazine or T-Shirt. Here is the plan:

We mailed Issue 4 out last week, so you should receive it shortly. We also sent out a ton of shirts. Next week we will be sending out the next batch of shirts and we will be all caught up. You should receive these shortly as well. If, by Nov. 1st, you have not received your shirt or Issue 4, then please email us at [email protected] and we will make sure you are set up correctly in the database. If you moved since you subscribed, then you definitely need to send us an email.

Moving forward, if you have any suggestions or comments for the magazine, please post them on this forum (I will start a new thread called "Extreme Boats Magazine - Comments and Suggestions").

Again, thank you for your support so far. We’ve got some wild stuff coming up.
