Dennis Cavanaugh put his everything into making the boats perform for everyone who powers with Merc. Pleasure or Race. Den will be greatly missed. What a gentleman. First class. The best. Our prayers go out to his wonderful family and to all who was part of his life.

This truly comes as a shock to me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family that he leaves behind and to his closest friends that will miss him the most.
I, like many others, had the opportunity to talk props with him at the Worlds in St. Pete a few years back. Took the better part of an afternoon to chase him down and locate him but it was time well spent as he is and was very knowledgeable in his field.
He will truly be missed as a person and for the knowledge that he possessed.
