I agree with Too Old. They were up 3 games to 1. You can't blame that on one fan...

If you can't close out a series up 3 games to 1, going back to Wrigley, with your best pitchers then you deserve to go home. It's like Cubs fans expected people to feel sorry for them and just "let" them in the World Series.
Then, instead of blaming themselves for the most hillarious collapse in recent years, they blame their own die hard fan for their choke. Classy, real classy. The Cubs are losers. Teams have been showing them how to play baseball for almost a century now.

How does the moto go? "Wait till next year" ah yes, thats it. :D :D

For all you Red Sox fans. Maybe this will end the "Curse of the Bambino"

Pretty ominous for yankee fans...

In the 1986 movie Back to the Future 2 , there was a scene where the

Christopher LLoyd character is looking through the sports almanac and
he

happens to "look Back" at the 2003 World Series. He tells Michael J.
Fox

that the Boston Red Sox won the 2003 series by beating the Florida
team.

What is even more amazing was that when the movie was made Florida
didn't

even have a baseball team.

Damn, you must have one heckuva memory! I guess I'll have to rent the movie again just to watch that one scene!

As I recall, it was something like 2115 in the movie, and they showed the Miami team beating another National League team. I can't remember which other NL team it was.

Lord, I had forgotten that scene. Too funny, let's see what tonight brings..

As far as the one fan ruining the Cubbies chances, boy thats about the mose lame excuse I have ever heard. Poor guy, just wanted a souvenier much like any of us would have, and now he is being crucified.. What, cabin fever is kicking in early up there this year?? :D :D :D
