Need The Help Of OSO Members By Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Ok, here is the situation.

Im the best man in my buddys wedding tomorrow. I strongly disagree with this wedding. He is 29 and has been married once. She is like 38 or 39, never married and believes her clock is ticking and wants to be married ASAP and try to have kids. So, she has pretty much pressured him into getting married (they hooked up exactly a year ago) and trying immediately for kids. Now this would be great and all, but they were splitting up every couple weeks, and fighting over the dumbest S**T.

Anyway, after she left him in another town at a bar one night recently (he had to call his mom for a ride late at night from another town!), I had a talk with him and told him this is a bad idea. He jokes and says the third time is a charm, so he needs to get this wedding out of the way.

So, this is going down anyway so I need a "BEST MAN SPEECH" for the reception. How do I go about this? Any suggestions for padding the speech yet keeping it simple? Anyone done this before?

Thanks!

P.S. Should I consider carrying a flask?

If he is your best friend,You should support him & wish him the best !! You have already told him your opinion.
Now stand with him & be there to pick up the pieces.

Nothing else you can do..................

I'll second that! Be a buddy and support him, even when he screws up.

They already said it. Always be there to help and never be there to judge or criticise.

Support him, and see if this can help:

just focus on how good of a friend he is and elaborate on his good points. Being the bestman and giving the speach, you dont have to mention anything about her except to wish them a good marriage.

Then be there for him when it falls apart.

Get real drunk and say nothing :D:D Just kidding. Try and remember a story from back when and tell that and wish them the best.
