Pic' of last Bahama run, note I'm from Wi'

10/21/03, there I am with my Restored Carver 25 footer.
This is the true Dream I built to do the Bahamas run. This is my second trip, this time i made it to the Berry Islands and back. Cool Vac' best weather, nasty seas throughout the trip. I seen wales 32 feet long, and fuel
that cost 3.53 per Gl. All in all SWEET.
This Carver has the B3 406 stroker =closed cooling a must. This Picture is me @ Blue Water Marina in Bimini.

Audiofn/ how's it going. Long time since we met at the Arcade in Chi Town for the offshore only party a few years back. Well, this is my Rocket I built for the run to Bahamas and back. I traveled about 300 natical miles on GPS.
Godfatha, I hit 7 islands and all,
Pompano to Bimini =3.2 Hours, 53.3 Mls
Bimin to Cat Cay =0.15 Min, 8.5 Mls
Cat Cay to Chub Cay 6.0 Hrs, 73.3 Mls
This slow speed of 15 to 18 knots where nasty seas traveling EAST.

On the way back now was differant,
Chub Cay to Cat Cay was 4.3 Hrs at around 21-23 Knots.

Cat Cay to US about 2.3 @ 26 Knots.

My Carver @ WOT does 49 Knots, but these seas in the Gulf are scary. But even in the Great lakes I can get scared to death with the rollers I've seen.

In the Gulf stream about 22 miles out I got such a current it slowed me down 11 knots =WOW, now that was a 12 foot roller in a 25 foot Carver, hense = Sh!t.
all in all, I am a Captain now. Been there twice, done that. B3
Another Picture for the Minds Eye, NE corner of Bimini.
