They might be big waves (hard to tell without some kind of reference) but look at all the space you have in between them the great lakes would look something closer to this:

****! Ive tried to break it! I came home in solid 8 footers and lived. I would drop from the top of the wave straight to the bottom! Ouch! Remember, its only 22'.

For anyone who has not boated in lake Erie between the islands you need to experience them. It's brings new meaning to "keeping you on your toes".

You salt water boaters take "wave direction" and "period" for granted.

Lake Erie boaters know "rogue waves" THERE ALL ROGUE WAVES!!!

man you got that right. in the sandusky bay it get nuts on a bad day. prolly the only place in the world where wave span is shorter than wave heigth what i wouldnt give for those nice big fat 8 foot ocean rollers with a mile in between em , instead we get the washing machine from he!!

I can take a picture of the beach too.........most beaches have waves. Think "offshore"...............like 6-8 miles out.
