better yet!!
I would go with the internal antenna. No seperate antenna and wire to mount and screw with. I have my 182 mounted to the left of the dash and accuracy is fine.
you must have been reading my mind..... I was wondering abou the antenna
The internal antenna is fine in most conditions. It's only in severe weather that you will start noticing a difference...(but then again, that may be when you need it most).

Boatfix and Brokenlegdave are highly recommended. I have done business with both many times, very reliable.
Re Garmin: I would tend towards Standard Horizon. Better value, better service, standard Cmap NT charts. If you ever have a problem, they usually send you a new one. |
I've always had Garmin stuff so I wouldnt know about the standard....enlighten me
If you always had Garmin, then you probably have a sizeable investment in their charts: Stay with Garmin.
