I live in SouthBeach and I know that there are still some decent places available. The Aqua is a cool art deco hotel that is clean and not run down. Watch out for alot of the art Decos, as they are pretty nasty inside. If you're looking for luxury big hotels, look at Shore Club, Delano, Mariott, Royal Palm. If you need any info on anything, dont hestitate to ask. Josh

I might not go to Florida!
I just got a killer job offer and tomorrow I give my current employer the two week notice.
Is starting a new job and going on vaction 10 days after you start a bad thing? It will only be 2 days.

Not if you let them know NOW. Usually that would be fine with most employers.

I/we fly in Thursday AM the 12th and leave Tuesday the 17th PM. Staying at the Holiday Inn in South Beach which is walking distance to the main convention center / show site. I phoned Holiday Inn direct after the website said that they were all booked up ( they wernt ), and am paying 229 per night.
Looking forward to Friday late afternoon / early evening at Monty's and then off to Stu's party later on !
