OT: (sort of) Am I wrong hear???

We are in the chat room last night and the conversation turns to what we do for our women and so on. I finished up the kitchen stove hook ups and said that I was excited for Pam to get in the kitchen and start cooking for me. They all jumped on my back and said that was not cool. I am not sure why not!!! :D I mean last year for her B-day I got her a vacume :D So guys am I wrong or what :D:D

By the way I learned it all from Cuda if you have any questions :D:D

Jon

Biggus 11-23-2003 04:55 PM

Did she bake you a pie??? :D

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:00 PM

Biggus she is in there as we speak making me dinner!!! :D:D

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 05:06 PM

Audio, the thing is, appliances are NOT cool gifts. Just NOT.

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:09 PM

I know TRG it was a stove I hope it gets hot!!!

I got her a fridge a little while back :D

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 05:12 PM

Considering the trouble you were having with the tstat and Cord's surround sound, I'd be surprised if it did get hot...:D

New appliances are great, really. But not as a GIFT for a birthday!

Cash Bar 11-23-2003 05:13 PM

Hey Audio,
I was lurking on chat when that happened to you.

I couldn't get a feel for what exactly was happening but I don't think you deserved what you say happened.

Maybe they are just a little touchy about that stuff. I would just move forward.

If it works for your situation then they should not stir the fire about what does not concern them.

My .02 cents.

Greg

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:17 PM

TRG it got plenty hot :D:D The T-Stat was fixed fast enough :D:D. I did not finish up tell 4am :(

Today we got all the tile put in :D:D

Waterfoul 11-23-2003 05:20 PM

Am I wrong hear?????

How about "Am I wrong HERE."

As the resident editor, I have to call you out on the wrong use of the word "hear" Jon. Sorry.

Oh, and can you get me a driver for my surround system's sub?? Mine appears to be shot. :)

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 05:20 PM

All the tile? Dude you were busy! Way to go. I still can't believe the wiring was stapled like that.

Hey Greg, why didn't you jump in the conversation? Were you around long enough to see ALL of the BS that was floating around in there last night?

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:35 PM

See now Too Old that is were you and I differ. It is my demand :D:D

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:36 PM

Foul I saw that just after I posted but you can not change the titles. Not sure why not but you can not.

Jon

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 05:38 PM

Dear Lord! Did none of you see all the smileys in Audio's post? We were all hurling around BS last night. I personally like to cook myself. And I am quite good at it. Geez, lighten up...

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:49 PM

Just stiring the pot to get lots of people in the chat this evening :D:D

CAP071 11-23-2003 05:53 PM

To take a quote out of Maxium magazine.

"What every guy wants is a Chef in the kitchen and a slut in the bedroom."

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 05:55 PM

Too bad most of them don't deserve it.....lol

CAP071 11-23-2003 05:57 PM

Audiofn 11-23-2003 05:57 PM

Jon

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 06:01 PM

Jon you are determined, I'll certainly give you that! About all I'm up for is ordering a pizza tonight. You guys kept me up too late last night and I'm just not back in the full swing of things after being sick.

MitchStellin 11-23-2003 06:15 PM

There is nothing wrong with that at all Jon. You know, there are still things that women do, in most cases better. Other things like take out the trash, fix things around the house, install appliances, mow the lawn, general maintenance on everything you own, and sometimes even cook. Those are things that we do and we don't get bent when women tell us to do it, right? We do it unnoticed to a large degree but we don't care if it is noticed..it needed to be done so we did it. Hope Married life is treating you right. Best wishes to both of you, maybe I'll be back again or you can head this way in the summer.

I guess my girl is just old fashion, I bought "her" a new fridge a couple weeks ago, and she loved it almost as much as the buffer I bought her.:p

When she says I don't do ANYTHING around the house, I point out that the dogs and I are in charge of security, and we are doing a damn fine job, haven't be broken into yet!

robyw1 11-23-2003 09:31 PM

Well after reading this thread I guess giving her golf shoes so she won't fall down in the snow while washing my car is a bad idea.

I Gotta go return something

Roby

Mrs Cord 11-23-2003 10:32 PM

Nothing wrong with giving your wife an appliance, when she really enjoys cooking. I myself enjoy cooking too. It one of the many ways that I'm able to pleasure my favorite men. Tim on the other hand is going to have a very long month.

Jon, Tim says that you want me to send you some lovin'. I need your new address...

Tim also has the tv set totally screwed up. What on earth did you tell him to do?

TRG Ange 11-23-2003 10:42 PM

Mrs. Cord, after seeing all of that tv direction going on last night, I can fully understand why the tv is screwed up! I am reasonably proficient with that stuff and I was LOST trying to keep up. Good luck!

Wasabe 11-23-2003 10:52 PM

I Love Appliances. My Fave is my fridge. I had to get it myself because he coundn't understand that, that was what I really wanted.
I agree with Mrs. Cord. You go girl! :D

Audiofn 11-23-2003 11:10 PM

Mrs Cord I am at 7 Walsh Rd. Bedrord MA 01730 :D:D
