I think the magazines will do just fine. For most of us, we utilize more than one source of information regarding our hobby, OSO has its place as do the magazines. I enjoy the reviews and feel they are an objective source of information regarding a particular product. I subscribe to Boating, Powerboat, and Family and Performance magazines and feel they do a good job. I'm with RMPRam on his Extreme Boats commentary, I'll not be subscribing to them.

I just did. PowerBoat, HotBoat, just let both of them expire a couple months ago. Now if they will stop sending me letters to resubscribe. Got so only spent 5-10 minutes going thru them. Figured it was a waste of my $$. Besides, seems like they are clones of each other. Samething. When my Poker Runs America comes up for renewal, it's going too!
If it hasn't been covered before on OSO, it ain't related to boats.
