Here are the designs offered from the people that actually make them no cat's though. $300 isn't a bad price if you really want one the cheapest i could find them retail was about $360. It seems a little expensive to me considering there's only about $100 worth of gold there but i'm not in the jewelry business so maybe that's a typical markup. Hmmm that's a pretty good markup

Yes your correct Designs By Slack Inc. is the original jeweler but he only sells to retailers, as this item was purchased threw a local jeweler from Designs By Slack. Had you asked me those questions I would have been happy to provide his URL and info....
