turkish cat? isn't that a skater copy?
Ernie |
I got to agree 9.1 for that kind of boost seems a little on the high side. What ya planning on running for gas?
Jon |
timucin sounds like your getting closer . How are you going to fit your head in there when you get it running :D :D Having the fastest boat in your counrty would be cool.:D I havent seen you in the Tech section lately. That is a mean looking cat &good luck.
Remeber Most 540 ci are internal ballance and you need chamfered bearings. |

Ernie let me start from the beginning; i was gonna make 8 psi boost.i have the pulleys and everything ready for that. but before installation i wanted to make some more search and got this book 'supercharged ' there corky-bell writer of this book says i can boost 12psi max on a 9:1 cr engine if i am using a cooler. i bought a chiller and decided to to boost 10psi.... and he is saying pump-gas Strip; yep i was reading books thats why i missed some cool threads in tech part ;) |

i am not sure how you make desicion about too much ; is your desicion based on the final comp ratio charts?
or based on speed shop tech lines? - the instruction manuals, tech lines, and standart papers are usually written/told with lots of tolerance. like if you ask a adoctor he would say dont eat too much red-meat.this doesnt mean that you die next day if you eat it... i am not trying to make an engine for years&years 50 hrs is more then enough to me. do you reaily tested/tried and blew the 9:1 engine under 10psi? is there any experience like that? i am wondering this do you think other factors are more important then heat? here is what weiand advices; |
