Leaving Minnesota with a buddy tonight to pick up a boat he bought near Flint. I'm wondering what the roads will be like around the S. E. shore of the lake? From what I've seen on weather.com they are predicting snow along the shore. What are you hearing in the local area? Would it be better to take 94 to 69 or suck up the extra miles and take 80 to 69?
Thanks for the help,
Jim

Don't know about the current conditions but I left South Bend, In earlier today and was on 94 and 69 and it was a light rain / snow mix but wasn't causing any problems. I live south of Flint and there isn't anything on the ground here..just a mist of rain. If your concerned about the snow you'd probably avoid any by taking the toll road and head up 69.

Thanks for the info on the roads.
Just going out to pick up a bass boat. He bought a 19' Ranger from someplace in Goodrich. Not exactly my kind of boat for fun but he likes that fishing thing.

Getting the new sled out in a few minutes to make a few laps of the yard
