Mike, Have you ever said anything to him about how you feel? Maybe he thinks you are OK with the way things are. Obviously his values are different than yours. Let him know what you expect if he wants to continue to stay with you. Once you lay down the rules in YOUR HOUSE, it will be on him to comply. If he chooses not to do things your way then he is not a friend, just a deadbeat user. If you need to tell him to get out be prepared to hear a sob story. Don't give in, just show him the door and, if necessary, set his stuff on the curb. Enough is enough. You are a good person and you do not need to put up with someone taking advantage of you. So I'm up, it's about 9:30, and the kid is up watching the f-ing power rangers, a show I think is just plain wrong for kids. He's jumping around my living room, which isn't very big. I've had to ask him to stop several times. Now, I wanna have some breakfast so I make myself something. His dad is still in bed and told the kid to ask me to make something for him to eat. Who's son is this anyway? AAGGHH!! I refuse to change my habbits just because there's a 5 year old in the house. I'll eat when I want, what I want, and It's not my responsibility to feed the kid.
