lake superior was doing that a couple weeks ago 60mph winds blew over a small sailboat on jack stands at our boat yard. Amazing how some people think the great lakes are just inland lakes and dont get rough. Glad most of the storms happen when our boats safe high and dry.

The deepest point is 802 ft, while the average depth is 283 ft.
Thats for Ontario.
