Just leave a message at night sometime. Tell your boss he's an ***hole!

Graduated college with a degree in Aeronautical Science. Planned to make BIG bucks flying for the airlines. Luckily took a job in construction and am now managing construction projects. As long as you don't mind travelling to where the work is - work won't run out. Everyone I knew in college and out of the military that were flying before September 11, unfortunately is now unemployed - including a couple guys making $200,000+ a year.

My husband will be laid off come Jan unfortuantely, so he's already looking for another job and has been for 3 months now.....he's a Controls Engineer/Estimater with background in Project management too. The only thing that hurts him, is he has 10 yrs experience, but no degree to back it all up. You would think experience like that would be better then that damn paper...but I guess not.

I may have to head back to work myself depending on how things go next month.....I'd love to work from home if I could.

Many a day I wish I would just fire my ass so I could spend more time boating but alas, I just can't get fired. I guess my boss is a real prick who just loves to see me suffer. You think after 24 years I could catch a break and maybe just get laid off for a summer
