Well, we used to keep our boat at lynhaven marine till it burnt down, and then sunset, and now we keep it at little creek marina (since the hurricane)!!

For some reason I thought we kept it at marina shores...

We're here in Northern Va, too! Woodbridge, VA. We also have a Formula...1990 292.

Blake since you're an impressionable young man all of 15 years of age, I would suggest your father accompany you to our happy hours..... The iced-tea will be on BillR and Donziman2.....

Hey Bill

Sorry I didn't remember your screen name but I do remember meeting you.
The motor is done and I'm still collecting parts like coolers and brackets. I'm also painting the boat and hopefully it will be finished before x-mas so I can begin the installation process in Jan.

Don't remember that Brian? September '99. It was quite an event to see 500 boats going up in flames.....on TV at least. BillR has some video that I still have not seen. I had a Baja 232 in the building at the time. I came within a few minutes of missing the last lift the night before. Oh well, the insurance check bought me a bigger boat!

I sat out on my dock and watched it go up. Then down to just under the bridge across the canal from it and saw grown men crying.....Then again I saw a few throwin' a few high fives as well....

It was built long ago prior to new codes requiring sprinkler systems. They never truly nailed it down, but their best guess is an older boat had an internal electrical short causing a fire and the rest is self-explanatory. The new structure is even nicer, and as Macklin said, there's a few new boats runnning around here as a result.

CBlakeNS-My folks live down in Hampton Roads. I don't get down there as near as much as I would like with the boat ...

May have to invest in a Galv or Aluminum trailer though
