Thanks for the compliment, Warpaint.
The controls on the 18 footer are chrome-style Gaffrig duals. This boat still flat RIPS! Volvo AQ311 engine/drive with 307hp stock and a 290 outdrive. Bulletproof for 10 years with 65 mph all day. See the Sutphen group for more pics!

Here is another Sutphen, "Dollar Bill."

It is a bad pic, but I didn't want to take it out of the old album, shows you how old it is!

The 3rd Great Adventure, Viper. Dad raced it for a year.

Too Old-
Found this one just for you. Dad had just bought it that day, the next day it became Magic "J"

That was a 26 Sutphen "Rum Runner". Rides like a 30.

Fred, I see you have been taking some heat for logging the most hours while boating in the garage

I`ve got a friend who has a 1983 30' Sutphen 'Ocean Pacer' He bought it new and it has less than 50 hrs on it! This boat is absolutely perfect and has NEVER been left outside overnight. The only time it`s seen the light of day is when on the extremely rare occasion that it actually gets used. (1996 I believe) good thing its inside because it`s all black gel. powered by 454/370`s with TRS drives. kind of a shame but he just enjoys looking at it along with his other toys.

The next time I`m down to Mass, I`ll take a few pics for this thread.

Great pics folks, love the classics!
