I can't believe it's winter again. This is what I have to deal with down on the Jersey shore

New York may never truly temporarily change over to rain, thus their snow, starting early this afternoon, may pile up to rather high totals. Up to a foot of snow in New York City would not be out of the question after everything is said and done. Gusty northerly winds will also be a major problem for residents of the North East and New England. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph are likely with gust to 55 mph along the coasts. Gale warnings are posted from Merrimack River, MA to Fenwick Island, DE through tonight. Coastal flood watches are posted along the New Jersey and Delaware shorelines for Saturday. Waves along the coasts from Virginia to New Jersey will rise to 10-15 feet tonight and increase to 15-20 feet on Saturday into Sunday

BLIZZARD WARNING!

Here in Stamford, CT we have 5" on the ground and still snowing hard at 8:53PM....

It took me 3 hours to make a normal 30 minute commute....

How does 15" to 20" sound? not including drifts..which could be close to 4'.....

I LOVE WINTER!!! I only wish I could go boating in it!

Not a flake in Toms River. We must be just south of the rain/snow line.

First time driving home that I was really glad I drive a 4x4 Chevy and not an Aston Martin, Porsche, or Jaguar (all of which I saw slide into cars/telephone poles, etc.)
