Pull anything way over a load limit with any brand and they will not last long.

Thanks to everyone that helped or offered to help !
We got it all taken care of .
Sydwayz ,is a super super guy ! He stayed to the end , in the rain and all . Helped us out in everyway ! Took Sandy over to get us a room while I finished up ,then came back to block traffic so we could move the boat .
Thank you Sydwayz ! I owe you big time !
Well ,Let me set the record straight . We ran through tons of snow from jersey all the way down past Baltimore MD. then through freezing rain to D.C. Truck ran perfect ,trans was perfect .I hate automatics and I was very impressed with this new one . The 6 litre had more power then you could use !! I NEVER pushed the throtle more then 1/3 the way !
That thing is NASTY ! WHen we found good roads we could run 65-70 pretty well . HAd to swerve once for a barrel in the road , and that was in the snow . Scared the SH IT out of me but it realy wasnt' that bad .
Problem started with truck stalling leaving toll both . everytime I touched the gas ,it shut off. 6 times . Then it shut off on the ramp !!!! around D.C. in rush hour ! The trans went into "limp" mode and locks in high gear . Try to get that moving in high gear !
Had to drive in low range 4x4 to get down the road at 20 mph ! Went about 10 miles total in low range to find a good place to park . Lucky a ford dealer was near by . unhooked and drove it there . They found 4 sensor problems with the motor . it was not a trans problem ,it was the motor sensors causing the trans not to work . I would say the trans NOW has a problem from me trying to get it going in high gear ! They are fixing it now .We'll see what they come up with . The owner of the boat found someone to pick up the boat .I think it is someone from florida .
Thank you to everyone that called and offered to help move the boat and store it .
As for towing a 45' boat with an Excusion ,,,, I would not recomend it for several reasons . Not even close to being legal , it is too much for it ,etc, etc, etc,
But if you are an very experienced driver , it is not all that bad . But , You must have all the right equipment to back it up . The trailer must be balanced just right , you must have weigh distributing , heavy tires , etc. And dual wheels would be nice !!
As for power ,
You guys can say what you want , I've had them all , When the sensors are right NOTHING will touch the new 6litre ford ! PERIOD ! Don't think so ,go drive one .... NOT KNOCKING any other truck .Just stating the fact that I have personaly experienced . I am very impressed .
Thanks all . Joe

Overloaded on a regular basis, but when my tranny goes I don't blame the manufacturer....
