Some of the estate cottages date back to the early 20's when American railroad, logging andf mining magnates discovered the beauty of the granite cliffs and the very deep clear waters. Awsome boating,awsome fishing and even better snowmobiling when its too hard for boating

The east side of Georgian Bay,home of the 30,000 islands. Hundreds of nasty granit shoals await the unknowing and the foolish. The scenery is beyond beautiful. The uninhabited areas lend to some fantastic boat camping and if you want,you can run to the famed North Channel or all the way across Georgian bay and lake Huron to Michigan.

Old River is only no wake at the west end up to the bridge onto Ono Island (about 1/4 mile total). All of the rest of it is wide open. You end up running close to alot of docks, but its how the locals run so - when in Rome.... There's a pretty good fast boat scene, engine noise has never been any more a problem then anywhere else. Come on down - its a great area to cruise around.
