Personally I think the 'Current Affairs' forum should be renamed 'Current Affairs and Apache Owners'.
Ironically, it's a few Apache advocates (owners) that do so much harm to the Apache name and embarrese other fellow owners. Let's face it folks, Apache is a legendary brand (like Cig.). No one is disputing the boat's, let them speak for themselves in the market place... The name doesn't need a few egotistical horn blowers to bring the name down.

I read most every thread 'cause I like to see what is going on around here. But, I cringe when I open one as it is almost a foregone conclusion as to what will happen.

personally i never really like the way they paint there boats up.. with that said... now a new one fresh right out of the mold.. 
only wax and white.. beautiful .. then run it two or three years white.. pull it for the year and put the newest paint design on her and run her for two or three more years until the dated look gets to her.. my then i've ran one hell of a boat for 5-6 years and would be looking to trade..
i always thought and heard from some good poeple that the older 47 hulls where some of the best made and a maybe still today.. just what i've seen and heard..

Yes, I'm sick and tired of all the bullsh!t that goes on on the APACHE threads. If ya ain't got noth'n nice to say, KEEP YOUR PIE HOLE SHUT! I wish I had the time to sit and watch all these threads, I would get OSO to make me a moderator and would start deleting the very first negative post in thread.
I know I have said some things on here that I should not have said, but I am only going to stay positive from now on, unless someone attacks me first, then I'll pull both triggers.
So, with all that said, everyone have a wonderful holiday season!
