A Lesson for all of the ladies
 

OK ladies I learned a hard lesson this morning.

YOU MUST CHECK AND RECHECK EVERYTHING YOUR HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND EVER DOES!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you know, Sean went out of town this morning. He told me he had an 8:50 am flight. In order to get to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport on time we had to leave by 4:45 am, because we live about 2 and a half hours from the airport, and you have to figure metroplex rush hour plus the airport security routine. So I had to be up at 3:30 am after a night of dealing with 2 unruly children. We get to the airport and we went to check to see what gate the plane was leaving from, and that's when Sean discovered that it's actually an 8:50 PM flight :hothead: :hothead:

Now I take full responsibility for the error because as a woman and the smarter half of our marriage, I should have checked the itenerary. So take heed in what I am saying Ladies, and try not to make the same mistake I did. LOL

And to Mr. Grady- I think that between giving birth to his beautiful children and then taking his illiterate butt to the airport 12 hours early, I have more than made up for that whole rib thing LMAO:D :D ;)

Sean sorry but you knew that this was coming. I really do love you ;) ;) ;) ;)

Gonna be an expensive holiday!!!

At first I thought "oh well, he just made an error".
Then I realized you had to drive 4 hours round trip then another 4 hours this evening. Eight hours on the road, with kids I presume, is not fun.
If my wife had done that, she'd pay dearly for it.

Not sure if I want to lend a shoulder for yo uto cry on, or LMAO at the both of you :)

Glad I do not fly enough to worry about this, I make damn sure when my flight is :)

Yeah it might be :D :D but, hey think of it this way...I could have been really really upset and yell and scream but I couldn't do either because I was laughing so hard I was crying. So I just figured that since I didn't get angry, I could pay him back by letting everyone else get a chuckle too. Honestly though, the only thing that I was upset about was that he had to sit in the airport for 4 hours before they could get him on a flight, and he had to sit by himself...I had to leave because of the babysitter. See I'm not SOOOO horrible :D :D

OH and by the way eventhough I wasn't angry, I'm still gonna ask for diamonds for repayment.

What kind of woman would I be if I didn't LOL

Finally: When in doubt, remind him your the wife and demand aforementioned expensive baubles anyway.

Terra, at least this is one lesson you can laugh at! Good thing he didn't have to wait for the PM flight, Sean waiting in the airport for that length of time would have been scary, no telling what kind of trouble he would have gotten into!

I feel for you Sean!

I once took my wife to a Halloween party (sonicse's), in costume, and showed up 24hrs early! So we stayed and had a couple drinks anyway. We did have the best costumes there that night! As for "expensive baubles" to make up for it, she gets them every holiday anyway. Whats a tennis bracelet, like 3 tanks of gas for the boat? :p ;)

Just get an earlier flight, or use one of those Internet terminals at the airport and surf OSO all day like all these other guys! :D

All I can say is glad its not me. I've made some blunders but, this is a good one. Just remember to double check the flight back. :D

Thanks Ice! Just remember it goes both ways! She gets all I can afford to buy her because she deserves it! Last summer I spent $5 or 6K on boat upgrades, some of which aren't even installed yet. The only comment from her..."When are we going to get the blowers on?" Thats a good woman!:D
