I doubt you'll be able to buy a Colt cheap. If thats what you're after a Mil-spec Springfield is probably your best bet.

Nobody givin the colt's away. They're pricey, but remember you get what you pay for. Stick with the quality brand.

I like the Walter ppk .fits in the pocket easy.just doesn't have a big enough clip.

Just checked a few websites and saw plenty of new Colt 1911s for sale. Where did you get the info that they weren't available to civilians?

It was on a few sites I was at, I don't know when it's taking place but thats what I read. I have seen many new Colts in the stores the last few days also, but I don't think they sell as fast as say milk.

The last site that I was at was one for when I did a search for the "Colt Defender Plus" they stated that it was hard to get and will get harder now that Colt isn't selling to civilians anymore.
