OT: Visor Garage Door Openers

I wanted to get my garage opener to work in my car too but my boyfriend told me that the garage has a program in it that every time you open it the code changes. So you can't have the hand held and the car one. This might be the same for you... Let us know what happened.

My openers definitely have rolling codes.
BUT
Both cars are listed as compatible with the rolling codes.
1996 and newer Benzes are, and I believe that GM models newer than 1998 are as well. Both of mine are definitely listed as being compatible.
My openers are supposed to be able to recognize wireless signals from up to nine or twelve (can't recall which) emitters (each remote or car counts as one, as well as any exterior mounted wireless wall keypads).
I'm gonna go try the learn mode right now,as soon as I put on some pants...
