NYC show kinda sucks. Not much performacne stuff. Pain in the ass and expensive to get boats there. PLus (for dealers) its sucks cus nobody buys anything! ANd teh timign suck super bad this year. as i recall its will run through new years. SO i'm thinking new years days its gonna be empty.

I thought that is would'nt be worth the trip but I wanted to make sure...Ocean Performance invited me to come because they were told that I was between their epoxy boat and the GTX at NM. I prefer the GTX but the pricing is way off from where I want to be. The epoxy boat is priced right but I think I am leaning towards a sit down. I really did'nt want to go and am to busy to even consider getting away right now...Thanks for all the unput:)

Everyone basically covered it. I usually go, just because I work in NYC. With the timing, between Christamas and New Year's, it may not be do-able this year. If you're gonna head this way, wait till Feb and hit the AC show. That one kicks major ass. Pretty good brew pub in attached to the AC convention center too ;)

I agree with the others. I have been going every year. Last year I swore it would be the last time I waisted my time. Unless you are looking for an embroidered hat with a Marlin on it, or some other stupid item, don't bother going.

It's really not worth going , unless Dave P. puts together an OSO Lace outing after the boat show..........
