Knock on wood...haven't been busted yet!
I'm farely safe, my office is a corner with a window behind me and the computer facing away from foot traffic...No one can see what the hell I'm doing!

hi-perf-2000,
thanks for the tip. I tried it and now it will be less conspicuous when I'm surfing. I hate minimizing when I hear the door open it seems too obvious. Nobody here at work is into the boating thing.

I work at home, and am always on the computer. Mr P sort of got in trouble at GM though, so he has to be careful. I think they are on his case anyway since sometimes he tows his boat to work in the morning so he can hit the lake in the afternoon.
Just this morning I found out our CAD guy at the main office got fired. The owners wife was installing some new software on the office computers and she found a lot of porn sites and pictures downloaded on his computer. The poor guy just moved into his first home two weeks ago and now a week before Christmas is out of a job. I would hate to be him, having to tell his wife what happened.

We just got a new server that is more accessible to our home office so I have to wonder how much they will be checking on us now. Knowing my luck, lots!

There's usually alot of items of interest that come across on OSO but I have nobody to share them with here at work. I have to wait till I get together with my boating buddies. Of course there are some OT items that people are interested in. An example would be the
thread, "Saddam and Photoshop". We all got a kick out of the pics. Shared with fellow workers, not the bosses.

Alt-Tab!
And I keep a busy spread sheet - with colors - on the other page, just in case. I don't really get hassled based on the nature of my work, (always out on the web doing research anyway) but it's always good to be careful...
