I have the Magellen Sportrak. It's easy to use and you can customize each screen for your particular use. The screen is very easy to see and it's very easy to navigate. The only draw back is the base map is only 2mb and stuff like state highways might not show up. You will also need to purchase Mapsend so you can program more map into it if you get one of these. Heck Maybe Andy has one laying around he could send me just to um...sample it.

I also have the same model. The handheld Garmins IMO are better than the others. BUT, I do agree that the screen size on these things are way to small for use in anything other than very claim conditions. If this is for use in the boat go with a larger fixed mound unit.

Get the newest software and you can do door to door directions on land.
