February: My fiancee who was my best friend and boating buddy, dumps me 5 months before our wedding.

April: Bought a new house with a BIG garage.

May: Boat breaks on Mothers Day while taking my Mom to dinner on the water.

March-June: Rained almost everyday. (Any DC area boater knows what I'm talking about)

June: Poker Run on the Potomac River

July: The rain stops and the boating season finally begins. Had an awesome July 4th weekend on the boat. Fireworks in DC.

July: My 11yo daughter's Mom decides to file for custody. I was proud of the fact that we have been apart for 6 years and never been to court. Funny thing is, she gets less child support by the court order than what I was giving her voluntarily

August-October: 4 separate trailer tire issues

April- October: Had a ton of fun with new and old friends on the river

my girlfriend of 5 years,(doesn't seem like much but I'm 23 and she was the first serious one) left me.

my boat broke.

those two things ruined my entire summer.

I had lots of good times with great friends that were there for me and made for countless great memmories despite my issues. Thanks guys.

Got the boat back together and closed the season out with some good times boating.

A few killer trips to floida this year.

spending the holidays alone for the first time I can ever remember is going to make it really easy for next year to start out looking brighter than this year.

owe well after every night is a bright new day,
Thanks to all friends, Merry christmas OSO.

1) The continued good health of my wife's mother (75) and my parents (75 mom, 81 dad)

2) The first summer in many years that I didn't blow an engine in the boat.

3) The economy seems to be picking up. I'm in sales, and orders are picking up

4) MANY great trips last year (Snowshoe, Annapolis, Key West, Va Beach, Outer Banks of North Carolina twice)

5) On the negative side, hurricane Isabel

6) Bought my first "car toy" - a 1980 Corvette L82.

Boat never hit the water this year

HOWEVER

1) Got married

2) Got Land in Maine to build my dream Vacation home/homes on.

3) Got a house in MA for us to live

Been a great year even if the business is a LOT flat. I look back and realize that I have a lot of friends and family to share all these things with. Thanks to all my friends near and far for making this a great year.

Jon
