Paint stripper works really well.

I do not like to have powder burnt off on Aluminum parts as the heat (700 Degrees) can take the temper out of the aluminum.

I tried Acetone on some grab handles I have - it softens the PC but doesn't remove it. I also tried sandblasting - it took some PC off, but not all. Then I tried a spray can of "Airplane Paint Remover" that I got at Advance Auto. Witnin minutes the PC had bubbled and could be wiped right off.

The only thing I've found that this stuff won't remove is Imron and POR-15 - although it will soften both. And don't use it on gelcoat - it will discolor/bubble the gelcoat (yes, I am the voice of experience).

I believe PC comes in different qualities, just like paint does. So what will remove my PC may not remove yours. But for $6, try a can of the airplane paint remover..
