30' Phantom - under $100k - upper 80's speed - haven't had it in big water yet.

Did 4 to 6's in a 30' Phantom before, but with canopy and strapped in - Daytona 2001.

Mine is under 100K and does 72. However , there aint no way i'm running in 6' seas at that speed , are you nuts? If its that rough i'd rather stay in the bay go to the beach and have a few beers.

Only thing I own worth more than 100K is my house...although the bank may beg to differ with me on exactly who owns it.

How about "Boats under $10,000"

That's where I'd fit in.

Me too!!!!!

Ya know,,,, all this stuff about running fast in big waves depends on who's judging the wave height. There are many boaters out there that really can't judge wave heights. A six foot wave is friggin' big!!! Some of these guys might think they were running 75 mph in six footers. The reality is they were probably in 2-4s or maybe, just maybe 5s. I'll say it again,,,,,,, six foot is a jumbo size wave to run anything over 40 mph.
