Rumor has it that DJD, former go-fast boat owner and driver, has started his own website named SlowBoatOnly.com to try to convince go-fast boaters that running at 15 knots is the real way to travel, as well as have an endless supply of ice from the icemaker for cocktails.

I'm contemplating getting a pontoon boat for short trips to the Susquehanna flats....this way I can take my dog along!! He's gaining weight and needs some water exercise!!

Of course this pontoon will have a pair of promax's danglin' off the back!!

I don't think you'd qualify for DJD's new website as pontoon boats typically run faster than 12 knots. But hey, maybe he'll make an exception if you've got a generator and an icemaker.
I'm kinda fuzzy on the doggie weight-loss program though,,,,,,,,,, you gonna harness him up and have him pull the pontoon boat around the lake? Just kidding. I've never seen a dog that didn't love going for boat rides.

A friend of mine did that- one used blender from a garage sale, one weedeater a buddy said wouldn't run (bad on-off switch), and a homemade coupling between the two.

Certainly less investment than those seen in the back of the boating mags, but much better when used outside!
You could probably make the powerhead do double-duty on that new pontoon as a bow-thruster however!
