Who has any experience with 125CC shifter carts. Would it be practical to have a couple and friends set up a coarse in a parking lot and just raise hell. Are they fairly reliable?

Fun, that's an understatement!. Will that scenario get you in trouble, probably .

If you are just looking to go out and have fun, pick up a non shifter kart, one that just has a centrifugal clutch and a 2 stroke motor. They are pretty reliable but do need some tinkering constantly.

Slower would be a 4-stroke motor (non shifter) usually comes with a briggs motor.

We have close to us a large parking lot that the local fire and police use for training. Not to many people know that this exists but we found it. They designed the lot to allow practicing of hydroplaning . We would take out our four wheelers and Z28's back in the days and set up a course to have fun with. Seems the local police did not like that and kicked us off. Now had we had some of these go-karts, WOW that would of been a riot.

SS390- Would you buy a 125 shifter to screw around with if you had a place to run it?
