If you boat is under 30', you are allowed to challenge in 2'+ ..... I was trying to keep the bigger boats from challenging in unchallenging waters.

I don't see how you can have an 'OFFSHOREONLY' match on a lake.

If you have a 38 footer on any lake ('great lakes' qualify as oceans), unless you are wearing panties, the only determining factor in a match is HP.
