Without the Apache emblem on the boat it just won't command the price of the original, no matter how well it is constructed.
I imagine that is why Thad persued that Apache name. Even if he built a fabulous boat, he knows without Apache on the side it would be tough to sell. But, if that boat is fabulous and if he indeed has the Apache name locked up. He has a real shot at a winning combination.
And I have no clue as to who owns what pertaining to Apache names. I am just waiting to see how that whole situation shakes out.

Scalp
What do you say two cheap bastards, I wont mention any names, get on a jet and go see Broken Arrow and Tatonka.
You offer $250 for Broken Arrow and I will offer $175 for Tatonka. If Mark Adams doesn't sick the dogs on us, then maybe we will both own too many powerboats.
Nice problem!

What about this 47? I don't know anything about it, but a LOT less money with nice power.

That 47 has been for sale for quite some time. I am sure that owner has to be open to offers. An Apache with triple drivetrains is out of my financial league.
I love those big nasty engine hatches!
