Has anyone received the new virus which does not allow Windows 98 to start up? I have spent all afternoon trying to figure all this out?

hmmm my g/f's puter is doing that too.
wont run in safe mode either.
she may have to reload everything.
they virus fockers really piss me off

LP, yep, you got it. Are you running Internet Explorer 6.0? If so, you have the same virus. It looks like we will have to erase the hard drive and reinstall everything. It sucks. Anyone have a website that has info on viruses like this one?

im not sure what she's running.
she is going to have a techy from her work take a look at it.
doesnt look good though
she has macefy but it got thru anyway.
