Yes the news is out! Our new aluminum Hipo heads are here soon. They will be introduced at the Miami show in February. Finally 600hp efi 496 is closer to reality. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry about the lack of intro. Name is Ray From San Diego, Ca. (The part that didn't burn down!) Our Company is Raylar Engine Development.. Been racin and renchin on race boats since 1969. Our newest product is an all new design aluminum cylinder head for the 496 or 8.1 engine. Will make this engine a "real deal". Forget the 525 HP3, its a GM smoke and mirrors. We are premiering the head at the Miami show next month. Will have a new intake manifold in April and stroker crank and Mahle pistons in May. Hope to meet more of you here and in Miami
Thanks for the replies

Ray,
It was a pleasure to talk with you on your efforts with this new package. I appreciate your time and the history lesson on this engine.
Everyone, keep an eye for release of this package. It sounds like Ray is doing the right thing with this project, he is doing real design work up front. Nice to hear.
Keep us posted as results and progress is made.
Rick
p.s. price this right and you will have a real all around winner.

Ray,
Thanks for the info you provided in our phone conversation. I too enjoyed the history lesson on the 496. It sounds like your 2 years of hard work will soon produce a nice assortment of upgrade possibilities for us to consider. I look forward to your web site to be up and running so that I can follow the release of these new products.
Keep up the good work.

Ditch the 496s and get a couple of Chief blower motors
